  • Day 1 Itinerary

FULL DAY IN AFRICAN MANGROVE OF FUNZI ISLAND

Arrive at the Bodo to sail to the Funzi sand bank for snorkelling and sunbath, before a visit to the village of the Shiraz people. A seafood lunch Swahili style will be served in the island restaurant. In the afternoon have a trip with the motor boat to the mangrove in “hunt” for Nile crocodiles, birds of different species, the dominant baboons, velvet monkeys, Colobus and the likes. Return to your hotel late in the afternoon to enjoy the rest of your holiday.

TOUR INCLUDES

  •  Transport from your hotel and back, sailing in the Arabic dhow to the Kisite marine park for snorkelling, marine park fees, seafood lunch, visit to the Shimoni caves, coral garden, a soft drink on the dhow during your snorkelling time, etc.
